12 Tags of Christmas tag #3

Hi there,
Oh yes I must be on a roll. I made another tag for the 12 tags of Christmas with a feminine twist. This tag's inspiration comes from Kelly Alvarez's tag. So of course I had to use a lawn fawn set. The snowmen are so cute!!!

12 Tags of Christmas with a feminine twist!

Hi there,
Today I would like to share a tag I made for the CLASSroom. Ellen is doing the 12 tags of Christmas with a feminine twist you can find it here http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/the_classroom_new/ . There are so many lovely tags!!! The artists share so many awesome techniques. I cannot pick a favorite they are all so beautiful. Here is my tag. I used memory box die and a dylusion stencil, along with some distress ink and some shimmer spritz. My sentiment is from Tim Holtz. My tag today was inspired by Teri Anderson. :)

My new favorites!!

Hi Everyone!
I just looked at my last post and it has been almost a month! HOLY COW! Time is flying. Anyway I thought I would share some things that I have done or are working on.  Just started art journaling and I love it. One day I watched one of Dyan Reaveley's videos over on the rangerink website http://rangerink.com/ and I was hooked!! I got her new journal and the dylusion sprays along with stencils and stamps and her book! Yeah I'm hooked. But I didn't stop there (of course not). I went on a couple other sites and blogs and found a great book by Suzi Blu called mixed media girls you can find her here http://suziblu.ning.com/ and another book by Traci Bautista called Doodles Unleashed you can find her here http://treicdesigns.com/!! All of the books I listed are really awesome and so helpful!!
Isn't this stamp set cute!!!

Here is one of my art journal pages. (I think this page is finished)

Another page and this one is not finished yet I need to doodle on it.

Practicing in my journal on making faces using Doodles Unleashed. I will be coloring her in.

On this page I added this little petite doll  from Suzi Blu's book. Isn't she sweet!
Another face I did following Traci in her book doodles unleashed.

Hello Everyone!

So I used an embossing folder and stazon ink on mine then I sanded it a bit and added it to this card. I want to try to do other things with it, I just love the shimmer of the paper. I went a bit shabby on my card also using some of Tim Holtz products too. Thanks for stopping by.

Kick Start ~ another challenge card

Hi Everyone,
I have another challenge this time I made a tag. Shari Carroll did a great video using dylusions by Dyan Reaveley. I just started getting into using dylusions the sprays are wonderful love them and her stamp sets are awesome. For my tag I used watercolor paper and sprayed it with some water and just went for it with my dylusion sprays. Then for an added effect I sprayed them with perfect pearls..........ahhhhhh love that. Next I did some masking and spraying and stamping. The colors are just perfect!!

Have a wonderful day!

Kick Start ~ Give yourself a challenge

Hi there,
For today's class it was give yourself a challenge. For instance trying to make a card in say 10 or 15 minutes or limit your supplies and try to make a card with only a few items. My card is made with limited supplies. I used a 6x6 paper pad from basic grey called "Curio" I used strips of paper from the pad and glued them to a piece of white cardstock. Now the embelishments I used had already been cut and sitting in a plastic tub that I use to hold all the items that never make it onto a card so I always have them to use. They do come in handy so I never throw any of them away. For this card I used some branches and a bird from a martha stewart punch that I had already cut out. However I did take the bird and emboss it with gold powder and utee on top and added a glitter butterfly and some twine. I figure I used 5 items on my card today.

Thanks for stopping by today! BTW this has been a really wonderful class it helps to inspire. Love that!

Kick Start ~ Smart Shopping

Hi Everyone,
Today I made my card with items that I recently purchased but have not used yet. The stamp set is from technique Tuesday I hadn't had a chance to use it yet. I colored it with distress inks on water color paper with a water pen. Not sure what made me use grey and orange but I do like the look. I love the black and white polka dot washi tape and the Tim Holtz plate both items I purchased this weekend .

Thanks for stopping by!! :)
