SCC week 3

Hi everyone!! Well it's week three already! Wow this has been really fun. I enjoy all the videos I love learning new techniques!! Jennifer and Kristina are so talented and I enjoy seeing what they come up with :) Here are my two cards:

For this card I used a digi image Poppies. I colored with my copics and then die cut it with my spellbinders circle die. I used distress ink in the center ( ink antique linen). The stamps used for the background come from papertrey ink it is the Mehndi Medallion LOVE it!! This was my first time using it and I really like the doily look. I used Versa color scarlet for the larger image and the medium image I used archival moonlight white ink and the really small stamp I used inkadinkado in coffee bean. I punched out a dragonfly and my sentiment is also a digi stamp.

This card has the same background. I used a MS stamp for the flower and I used her color ink too. My little bird is from Maya Road. My sentiment again is a digi.

SCC week 2 encore!

Well I just knew I would have to break down and make a second card. I just love how this card turned out.

My image is a digi stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Beach Baby Jayme. I colored her with my copic markers, and  for the grass I used a MS stamp with distress ink peeled paint. On the umbrella I used my embossing pen and some clear embossing powder from ranger. Not sure if you can see that in my picture. I used a cuttle bug die for my background and used distress ink spiced marmalade to color. I added some ribbon and a ribbon rose with a pearl in the center.

SCC week 2

I could not wait to get started on my card for this week. I may make another one :) The colors for this weeks challenge are shown above. Here is a picture of my card!!

For my card I used some basic grey paper a combination of different papers. Most of them are from hopscotch. I also used my spell binders die along with my MS button punch.

Summer Card Camp!

I am taking a new card class with Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner called Summer Card Camp I think I mentioned that in my last post. It just started on Monday I am so excited!! I just love seeing all the work from all the students in the class and let me tell you there are many. I just looked and there are over 300 cards posted Yowsa.......that's a lot of cards. Wow what talent!! We have been given our color pallet for this week and I actually made two cards. Thanks for stopping by!

On this card I stamped my image with rasberry fizz from http://www.papertreyink.com/ and colored with copic markers regular and glitter pens. I used my scallop edge die.

On this card I used flower fusion dies from papertrey ink and also the picket fence die. I used my M.S. punch on the edge. I sewed the card stock onto the card using the zigzag stich.

Rainy cold Saturday!

Hi everyone!!!! I thought I should update my blog! It is cold here today......ughhhhhhh and it's June. Mother nature has not been very nice to us lately. Today the high is 61 and earlier it was 58. Can you believe it! Oh well it gives me more time to play. Fathers Day Cards

I know just what your thinking!! FATHER'S DAY we haven't had Mother's day yet! Well I made these cards for OWH. I received an email that said they needed more Father's Day cards, so I have been working away at them. I have twelve made now and I plan on adding more to that!! I hope to work on them this weekend since I need to send them out soon. So I took some pictures and thought I would post them today. Btw these are digi stamps and makes it so much faster to make cards!!

Easter cards and some others too!

Well it sure has been a while. Believe it or not I took pictures of my Easter cards but never posted....me bad!! Oh well you know how that goes. I had to get a box of cards ready to ship to OWH I wanted to get them sent out a while ago.

I have been taking a class on making flowers. I hope to add more of them to my cards. I just love to make my own embellishment's much cheaper too.
