Play Time
Hello Everyone!
Today is play day :) I just got some of these "shimmer sheetz" you can find them here http://www.ecraftdesigns.com/ I saw them on facebook and I thought they looked really cool! So I used an embossing folder and stazon ink on mine then I sanded it a bit and added it to this card. I want to try to do other things with it, I just love the shimmer of the paper. I went a bit shabby on my card also using some of Tim Holtz products too. Thanks for stopping by.

Kick Start ~ another challenge card
Hi Everyone,
I have another challenge this time I made a tag. Shari Carroll did a great video using dylusions by Dyan Reaveley. I just started getting into using dylusions the sprays are wonderful love them and her stamp sets are awesome. For my tag I used watercolor paper and sprayed it with some water and just went for it with my dylusion sprays. Then for an added effect I sprayed them with perfect pearls..........ahhhhhh love that. Next I did some masking and spraying and stamping. The colors are just perfect!!

Kick Start ~ Give yourself a challenge
Hi there,
For today's class it was give yourself a challenge. For instance trying to make a card in say 10 or 15 minutes or limit your supplies and try to make a card with only a few items. My card is made with limited supplies. I used a 6x6 paper pad from basic grey called "Curio" I used strips of paper from the pad and glued them to a piece of white cardstock. Now the embelishments I used had already been cut and sitting in a plastic tub that I use to hold all the items that never make it onto a card so I always have them to use. They do come in handy so I never throw any of them away. For this card I used some branches and a bird from a martha stewart punch that I had already cut out. However I did take the bird and emboss it with gold powder and utee on top and added a glitter butterfly and some twine. I figure I used 5 items on my card today.

Kick Start ~ Smart Shopping
Hi Everyone,
Today I made my card with items that I recently purchased but have not used yet. The stamp set is from technique Tuesday I hadn't had a chance to use it yet. I colored it with distress inks on water color paper with a water pen. Not sure what made me use grey and orange but I do like the look. I love the black and white polka dot washi tape and the Tim Holtz plate both items I purchased this weekend .

Kick Start class organization!
Hi Everyone!
In the kick start class they are giving us ideas on how to organize our space. I have taken some of the ideas this weekend and cleaned up my craft room. I love how neat my area is now and how organized it looks. One idea that I loved was putting my punches in an over the door shoe holder so I got mine at Walmart and it worked out wonderful. I was able to move them from the shelf over my desk and it gave me more room!! Love that. So here are some pictures.
Thanks for stopping by today. Now I need to make some cards :)

Kick Start!
Yay! The new card class has started and I have learned so much already and it just started. The inspiration for my card today came from a bit of everything the instructors shared :) I used some washi tape on the banner and on the inside portion of the cut out heart and I added the dash lines last minute. I hope you like my creation and maybe it will inspire you to create!
