Day Seven Plainly White

Hello,
Today's card is for day 7 using a white background and making our image stand out more and as Julie said draw the eye into the card!! Love that. My image today is from the justrite botanical buterflies set I colored my image with copics and my sentiment is from papertrey ink. On the edge of the card I used my fiskars punch then my versamarker and embossed with enchanted gold powder. I love it!! Very simple and perfect for a dear friend of mine. Oh and the blue is showing that is the inside of the card I just took a colored card and turned it inside out. Thanks again for stopping by. :)

Day 5 Techniques Made Simple

Hello everyone! I told you I am taking another card making class Clean and Simple Card Making!! Love it.....those girls are awesome. I learn something new all the time and the cards they make have just been fantastic!! This was a fun technique that Jen taught us using distress ink and the then using the perfect pearls with water. This card is really much prettier in person not the best picture.

I also made another card using my new hero arts Owl stamp so cute!! I have seen it used in some of the other cards in the gallery! Seriously how can anyone resist this stamp!!! I used a black embossing powder and then I took my distress inks and perfect pearls and colored him in and cut him out for my card.

Clean and Simple card making!

Wow.......it has been over a month since my last post!! I am slacking BIG time! I joined another card making class and finally got a chance to make A card!! I guess I just got caught up in the holidays. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday :) Now onto my card. I used some kraft card stock that I got from http://www.papertreyink.com/ for the base of my card. I used a die I purchased from http://whimsystamps.com/ called country heart and the other die I used is a memory box die called country house and seriously I just noticed they both said country too funny!! Anyhoo I did what Jen had showed in her video and used layers. My background stamp is from hero arts http://www.heroarts.com/ called the leaf and floral background stamp. I added a couple small hearts and some twine. Clean and Simple :) Thanks for stopping by today!
