JustRite Friday Challenge 015

This week's JustRite Friday Challenge #015  is to make a May Day or Mother’s Day project using any of JustRite's flower stamps!  I used the My garden set for my Mother's day card. and the flower I picked looks like they could be violets or small pansy's!! I embossed the image with queens gold from ranger. I colored the flowers with prisma pencils then I misted it with perfect pearls and water. Oh and it's an easel card too, my first one!! I used a tiny heart as my stopper. The paper is bo bunny. I love this ribbon I could not resist buying it months ago.

My 30th Wedding Anniversary!!!

Wow it is hard to believe that my husband and I have hit the Big 30 Anniversary (yesterday) 04/20/10!!! Unbelievable, time does fly. Here is a picture of the card that I made for him. I found the sketch in the paper crafts Go to Sketches. I just loved it.

I have to add a picture of the beautiful flowers sent to us from our oldest daughter Melissa. She lives in Jersey City.

Saturday April 17th 2010

Well we woke up to snow on the ground, only a dusting BUT STILL just seeing the white. Oh well it could have been worse. We could have had a couple feet!! Anyway this gave me a chance to just play. So I found this basket pattern over at the Belles 'n Whistles blog and thought how cute to use that pattern for some May baskets. So I made three of them.

Now I think I will go and color a few of my images and make some cards for OWH!! It is certainly that kind of a day!! It gives me a chance to just play.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #6

This weeks challenge over at Sassy Cheryls is to use a Sassy Cheryl 'girl' image and include ribbon in our card or 3-D project. Here is mine!! I used Bo Bunny paper and put the ribbon and lace together. I thought she was adorable. I colored her in with copics and prismas.
