I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family and friends!! I have had a busy month. My mom just had hip surgery so I took a much needed trip to VT to visit with both her and my Dad. It is a beautiful drive as long as it is not snowing!!
Well I am posting pictures of my album cover for JYC 2010 with Shimelle at http://www.shimelle.com/ this is my second year :) Once you join and do it one year you are good for all the following years. I have actually added snowflakes to my cover since I took this picture. I knew it needed something. I should take a new picture huh, oh well that will be next time.
Now here are the tags that I made to go along with the JYC album. Not sure I will use them on every page but probably on most of them.
I have also been busy making my Christmas Cards too. Here are just a few of them.
Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you like my creations :)
I came across another challenge over at http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.com/ This weeks challenge is obviously distressing. Tara wants us to distress our designs! I used Charlotte!! I colored her with copic markers and then I added some distress ink to that and then I spritzed it with some perfect pearls and water. The card stock is from co-ordinations that is embossed and sanded and the blue card stock is from the Dear Lizzy line http://elizabethkartchner.blogspot.com/ which I sewed together.
Whoa long time since I posted anything on my blog. Busy, busy. busy!!
I decided to enter in Mo's challenge http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/. Lydia's set the challenge this week for us to think of "pockets" And that is entirely subject.
I love this cute guy (door mouse). I colored him with my copic markers.
I used co-ordinations paper and embossed it sanded it a bit and then I hand stitched the corned on. I also made a smaller tag with my sentiment stamped on it and made a pocket on the back so that it would fit nicely.
I am happy with the way it turned out of course I had to add a flower to it. :)
Funny I thought I was done making cards for Ellen's Challenge over at http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/the_classroom_new/ but I had an urge to make just one more :) for the Glitz challenge. On my card I used some of Tim Holtz grunge board that I embossed and used some distress ink (broken china) then I misted it with my perfect pearl's and water. I used my Martha Stewart punches and a doily (spritzed with some tattered angel mist) for under my prima flower, and that also has some glitz to it!!
This card is made for the inchie challenge!! Here are my textured inchies.
The paper is from Prima called Annalee. My flowers are also from Prima. I must admit I never thought of putting them in my embossing folders so I learned something new :)
Here is another card I made for the challenge over at http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/the_classroom_new/ This one is a masculine card. I used my Graphic 45 A Proper Gentlemen paper and of course some ribbon that I purchased from Sharon Johnson and actually I got the paper from her also in a kit http://notimetostamp.blogs I used one of Tim Holtz gears for my embellishment.
On this card my stamp is from http://www.justritestampers.com/ Groovy Snowman Set Yay I finally was able to ink it up!! The paper is from Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather. Isn't he the cutest!!!
Hello!!
Happy weekend!! Football is on and I have been busy making my card for this Challenge today. It is a color challenge using orange, green and purple. I used some core'dinations card stock in orange. Then I colored Eleanor with my copics. My flower is made with tissue paper and then colored with distress ink in dusty concord. I used basic grey paper and used my nestabilities die. My sentiment comes from a set called Sweet pea from www.thereshegoesclearstamps.com
I had a lot of fun creating my card. I hope you like it.

I have not posted anything in almost a month!! Well it is Summah time and you all know how that goes. So many things to do and since our summers are so short we tend to try to enjoy every last second of it. But I have still been making cards. I just made this card for a Baby Shower that my daughter Amanda and I will be going to this weekend up at Shin Pond funny name huh!!! Her best friend has a little girl and is expecting a boy! My image is from Meljens designs and is adorable I might add. I used copics to color the image and my flower is made from a coffee filter along with some distress inks. Then I sprayed it with some perfect pearls and water in gold.
